Cimicifuga racemosa (extract) |
Cimicifuga racemosa has been scientifically and clinically researched for the plant's potential to provide relief for women who are experiencing symptoms associated with PMT, peri-menopause and menopause. Extracts of Cimicifuga racemosa come in many different qualities and potencies, all of which affects the therapeutic properties of the finished product. The Cimicifuga racemosa extract used in 30 PLUS® NuWoman® has been standardised to a level acknowledged by German research and shown in clinical studies to be a consistent and effective form of the extract. 30 PLUS® NuWoman® contains 60 mg of Cimicifuga extract in each tablet. |

Chromium picolinate |
Chromium is an essential nutrient for the maintenance of hormone and blood sugar regulation. 30 PLUS® NuWoman® contains 200 mcg of chromium picolinate in each tablet. |
| |
Tyrosine |
Tyrosine is an essential amino acid, which performs several functions that may benefit women who are experiencing symptoms related to hormonal fluctuations or imbalances associated with PMT. Tyrosine is a precursor to natural brain transmitters called endorphins. Endorphins are the chemical substances that make us feel good. Tyrosine may assist in the symptomatic relief of mood changes referred to as mood swings, irritability, emotional instability, mild anxiety and nervous tension. During times of prolonged stress our adrenal glands may become fatigued. As a result, a feeling of tiredness may be experienced. Tyrosine is an essential nutrient for the adrenals and may be beneficial during times of stress. 30 PLUS® NuWoman® contains 150 mg of Tyrosine in each tablet. |
| |
Vitamin B6 - pyridoxine hydrochloride |
| Research has been conducted into the ability of vitamin B6 to play a role in the relief of the symptoms associated with PMT. 30 PLUS® NuWoman® contains 50 mg of vitamin B6 in each tablet. |
| |
Vitamin B9 - folic acid |
| Folic acid is necessary for the correct synthesis of hormones. If the body does not synthesise its hormones correctly, an imbalance may occur. A complex pathway of hormone synthesis exists within the body and without adequate levels of folic acid the body may not be able to manufacture the correct levels of the hormones that it needs. 30 PLUS® NuWoman® contains 99 mcg of folic acid in each tablet. |
Vitamin B12 - cyanocobalamin |
Vitamin B12 is necessary for the correct detoxification of hormones. Along with B6 and folic acid, vitamin B12 assists the body to break down hormones properly so that a natural balance is maintained. 30 PLUS® NuWoman® contains 25 mcg of vitamin B12 in each tablet. |
